Gallery: Garden Arbors
Arbors are still on a learning curve as we sample the weather here in Oregon but so far I feel reasonably comfortable saying that they have been a success. The two that we have built at the coast have weathered winds up to 60mph as well as freezing and thawing. Not only whimsical, they are a terrific place to display a collection of gnarled driftwood.
This arbor is in our side garden and features spheres to match the porch columns on the front panel.
The back panel of the arbor in the side yard features a grouping of antique keys.
