Everyone needs a sacred place to rest their head after such exuberant tiling! My partner Bruce and I had a great time creating this headboard for our bedroom.
The moon man was found at an estate sale. He is surrounded by pewter words of encouragement, peridot stones for sweet dreams and a series of leaves I created during a clay hand building class at the OSU Craft Center. www.osumu.org/craft_center.html
This pine headboard was a beach house donation from my friend, Julie. We removed the inserts and replaced them with mdf substrate. A stack of chipped blue china plates collected at various garage sales made the perfect tile!
