NEWS FLASH: An estimated 1200 citizens participated in a variety of community events to create mosaic panels for 18 of the concrete trash receptacles located in downtown Corvallis between 3rd and 4th Street. 46 volunteers logged 152 hours behind the scenes to prep panels and generate tesserae! Installation will be taking place summer of 2013.
The project is funded entirely by private donation and a grant from the Benton County Cultural Coalition. Adhesive and grout generously donated by Laticrete International. To date we have raised $4072 of our $4500 goal. If you are able to contribute, please click on the Donate button in the upper right hand corner of this welcome page. THANK YOU for your support of public art in our community! We love our vibrant downtown!
I create vibrant glass mosaics that incorporate stained glass, mirror, beads and rhinestones. My work is appreciated and purchased by those looking to create unique environments in which the human spirit can thrive.
We live in an ever evolving mosaic art installation known as The House of Y Not, located in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon in the United States. Our passion for mosaics spirals out into our community and the world at large as we invoke delight, encourage wonder and inspire others to nurture their own creative spark!
